Ten PC Commandments
-
Thou shalt worship thy LAN Manager and him only shalt thou serve.
-
Do not kill thy PC by failing to do regular backups.
-
Honour thy file server and thy mainframe, for without them thou would'st
be orphaned from many important applications. Do not abandon them, even
when thou reachest an age when thou hast more than 100 MB capacity on thine
own hard drive.
-
Do not covet thy neighbour's younger PC. Be content with the PC of thy
youth, for it shall not abandon thee in thy times of great need.
-
Thou shalt not commit adultery by using another man's floppy, for thou
knowest not what undesirable viruses thou mightest receive.
-
Treat thy neighbour's PC as thine own. It is fine to feel GUI toward it.
-
Supply thy PC with new software frequently.
-
Endeavour to make thy best macro yet.
-
Do not steal thy software. Pay thy money and register promptly as thou
knowest is right.
-
Do not give false data to any program.
